Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of the second block of the master in interpreting, students will be able to: - memorize a speech of a non- or averagely specialized nature while identifying and replicating its structure, using notes if required; - fully understand and memorize a more highly specialized speech through the preparation of documents and terminology; - render the speech in correct and fluent French with no errors of meaning and deliver the speech in a convincing fashion;
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Consecutive interpretation of speeches of various length and complexity. Memorization, note-taking and rendering in French. Exercises based on non-prepared speeches, freely-rendered written texts or recordings of original speeches.
