Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of the first module of the master in translation, students should be able to:
-understand specialized documents using appropriate research strategies;
-translate them into correct French and where necessary, taking into account the typology and terminology of the concerned domain.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Translating specialised texts from various domains whether economical, technical, scientific or medical. Use of documentary and terminological resources (CAT).
Translation of historical, institutional and political texts related to international institutions.
Creation of a glossary in order to master the specialised lexicon used in texts dealing with institutions, politics and the geopolitical evolution of Italy;
Translations of texts following political events.
