Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this programme component, students will master English at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages.
They should be able to:
- understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics;
- interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party;
- produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Commented reading of a large range of texts. Commented listening activities, based on audio(visual) resources. Oral and written production exercises: written texts and oral utterances in English on various topics. Systematic and appropriate use of grammar and vocabulary.
