At the end of this programme component of the 2nd block, students will be able to:
- bring out the logical structure of a general text, written in the foreign language;
- render the meaning of this text in a correct French;
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Introduction to the basic translation principles and technologies.
Introduction to the written and oral translation of informative and pragmatic texts, accessible at the B1 level of the CEFR.
Advised use of dictionaries and reference documents.
