Learning Outcomes of UE
Upon completion of the language courses of the first block, students will have a good command of the foreign language at the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
They will be able to understand:
- texts that consist mainly of everyday language or study related language;
- the description of events, feelings and wishes.
They will be able to write:
- simple connected texts on topics which are familiar or of personal interest;
- personal letters describing experiences and impressions.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Class activities centred on:
- understanding of general, particular and detailed information;
- developing efficient reading strategies;
- using lexical research methods and structural analysis;
- production of simple texts about various topics.
Commented reading of factual and literary texts.
Structural and lexical exercises (functional usage of common phrases and expressions).
Writing exercises.
