Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand language of instruction and foreign languages (language skills)
    • Communicate easily and adequately, in both selected foreign languages, at a minimum level of B2 in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Learning Outcomes of UE

Upon completion of the language courses of the first block, students will have a good command of the foreign language at the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. At the end of the 1st term, the level will be A1. 
Students will be able to:  

Listening comprehension:
- understand and extract the essential information from short, recorded passages dealing with predictable everyday matters which are delivered slowly and clearly.

Oral:
- tell a simple story of give a short description;   
- describe plans, everyday activities, past actions and personal experiences; 
- give a short, rehearsed presentation on a topic pertinent to their everyday life and cope with straightforward follow up questions.

Listening + Oral

- developing efficient reading and listening strategies
- commented listening of audio(-visual) recordings.
- production of utterances about various topics.
- the description, narration and expression of personal opinions in familiar and predictable situations using a simple and functional, reasonably correct language.
