Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
The master thesis is a first experience in scientific research work (or bibliographic, or didactic, according to the context). This work is done in a laboratory in a university, or in a private company and is corrdinated by a supervisor that proposes the subject, supervises and advises the student in his approach. In the case of an experimental subjet, the work encompases: bibliographic research on the subject, planning and realization of the experiments, analysis of the results, and writing of the report (50 to 100 pages maximum, without annexes). This report presents the results in the usual way in science (structured in introduction, goal, material and methods, results, discussion, conclusion, bibliograhy, annexes). A the end of this work, the student will develop a know-how in the various aspects of the scientific research (documentation, planning and realization of experiments, interpretation, restitution).
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
