Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Manage large-scale software development projects.
    • Apply, mobilise, articulate and promote the knowledge and skills acquired in order to help lead and complete a project.
  • Apply scientific methodology.
    • Critically reflect on the impact of IT in general, and on the contribution to projects.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of the instruction, the students will be able to understand the impact of information systems and technologies in the field of business management (competitiveness, performance,...); understand how Internet and new technologies transformed the operating process of the companies (new business models) and the way they communicate; understand the economical and technological challenges related to the explosion of the numerical data and the new trends (Big Data, Cloud computing,...).

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

The objective of the seminars is to enable students to better understand the use of computer science in business, and to appreciate the importance that must be given to technology watch activities. Various professionals will present industrial applications related to emerging technological fields, present the difficulties encountered and share their experiences. At the end of these seminars, students will have a more global view of the computer concepts and technologies used in business. The topics covered will change from year to year.
