Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Analyse an educational situation in reference to theories and methodological approaches resulting from developments in educational sciences.
    • Master and appropriately mobilise knowledge, models, methods and techniques used in various fields of educational sciences in order to understand an educational situation.
    • Analyse and model an educational action by critically selecting theories and methodological approaches, and taking into account multidisciplinary aspects.
  • Develop and support a teaching-learning device, and implement and evaluate it.
    • Rate an educational device.
  • Communicate and exchange information in a structured and adapted way to the intended purpose and relevant public.
    • Present and structure data in a clear, precise, neutral, and non-oriented way.
  • Assess and pursue professional and personal development.
    • Monitor knowledge and methodological approaches in order to evolve their thinking and practice.
    • Continue to train and improve their skills.
  • Master scientific research methods in educational sciences.

    • Adequately interpret results taking into account the reference framework within which the research was developed.

Learning Outcomes of UE

The student will be able to reconstruct the reasoning having proceeded to the construction of the procedures / to select (the) procedure (s) adequate to the treatment of a given problem  / to perceive the limitations of the inferences built from a statistical treatment / to proceed to the treatment of concrete data by means of the procedures being the object of the lessons with help of the calculator.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

Statistical Tests of hypothesis: parametric analyses of variance (simple, for completely nested device, in two-crossed criteria), analyzes the covariance, nonparametric analyses of variance (Friedman, L of Page, Kruskal-Wallis).
Analysis of the link between variables: notion of correlation, multiple correlation, partial correlation, not linear correlation, nonparametric correlation.

= 70% de l'UE "Statistique inférentielle multivariée" (=100% de l'UE "Statistiques avancées")
The other 30% of the UE corresponds to the evaluation of the group work (PW) done in the framework of the AA "Multivariate inferential statistics: treatment of problems on software".
Failure to submit the practical work (PW) will result in an "absent" grade for the AA and therefore for the UE of which it is an integral part.
