Learning Outcomes of UE

The course aims to give the student the theoretical bases of the elaboration of knowledge in the human sciences, as well as the main tools of the scientific approach, namely observation, measurement and experimentation.
The student is immersed in situations where he or she is an actor, sometimes as a subject, sometimes as a researcher in the context of observation and/or experimentation.
The intention is to give the student, through this integration into concrete research approaches, a better appropriation of the concepts and methods presented in the course.
In the longer term, the course aims to give the student the methodological rudiments of the scientific approach (from the elaboration of the research question to the dissemination of the results, including the establishment of the appropriate methodology, the collection of data and their analysis) that, in fine, he/she will have to implement in his/her TFE or thesis.
