Programme component

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Mobilise a structured set of artistic and scientific knowledge and skills and specialised techniques in order to carry out architectural missions using their expertise and adaptability.
    • Master and appropriately mobilise knowledge, models, methods and techniques specific to the architectural engineering.
    • Model a project or solutions by selecting theories and methodological approaches (modelling, calculations) and relevant techniques while taking into account multidisciplinary aspects.
    • Identify and discuss possible applications of new and emerging technologies in the field of built environment for the benefit of humans.
    • Assess the relevance of models and results in view of the current state of knowledge and construction and the characteristics of the problem.

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this course, the student will be able to:

- Observe and solve problems related to disorders in constructions.
- Take the necessary conservatory measures.
- Analyse the origin and/or the cause of disorders.
- Propose sustainable repair solutions over time.
- Prevent disorders in construction during the design and execution phases.

- Cracking.
- Influence of the nature of the soil. 
- Concrete pathology.
- Buried constructions, waterproofing defects, humidity problems.
- Building stabilisation techniques
- Civil liability of the architect.
- Survey and analysis exercise.
