Content of Learning Activity
Foundations of Statistical Physics. Equilibrium statistical ensembles (microcanonical, canonical, grand-canonical). The concept of entropy. Ideal gases of atoms and molecules. Ideal quantum gases of bosons and fermions. Introduction to phase transitions and irreversible processes.
