      Content of Learning Activity

      Analysis of a guideline through the prism of four common diseases in the field of pulmonology.
      The course adopts a CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach that values the co-construction of knowledge through the use of English.

      This course allows students to acquire and develop the following language and scientific skills
      Identify the main ideas of a scientific text in English (guidelines and reference books);
      Communicate these elements to peers or to a more or less informed public (with different degrees of knowledge of the subject), being aware of the importance of the different registers of language;
      Demonstrate critical thinking in the interpretation and processing of data from the medical literature;
      Adopt a medical approach that integrates data from the scientific literature, clinical judgment, and the values and preferences of the patient population, with respect to the diseases addressed in the practical sessions
