      Content of Learning Activity

      Physical principles; the airways and air conditioning; static and dynamic properties of the respiratory system; the respiratory muscles and their effects; the respiratory cycle; Distribution of ventilation and perfusion; diffusion and transport of the gas in the lung and the body; Acid-base equilibrium and the lung; control of ventilation; pathophysiological conditions.
