Content of Learning Activity
This course is based on comparative research and case studies. The student approaches the project through reflection on the building, the material, the structure and the sustainability of the intervention. The creation of intentional sections in relation to the site and the symbolic aspects of the programme, the structural concept, the choice of materials and their implementation leads the student to propose an integrated and coherent project right down to the technical details.
The project will integrate a technical reflection on the building envelope which will be useful, efficient and 'low tech', while responding to current climate and energy issues.
