Content of Learning Activity
On the basis of a case study and measurements carried out in the field (NDT), the student is confronted with a particular problem (examination of the deformation of an ancient structure, analysis of the integrity of an ancient structure). This course enables the student to analyse a particular problem in heritage conservation, to use analysis tools (3D laser scanner, Schmidt sclerometer, ultrasound, etc.), to interpret the results, to understand and study the composition of structures, to identify the causes of pathologies and to suggest curative solutions.
