Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

• Master specialist knowledge in the field of economic, political and social sciences in order to mobilise it on issues related to political, economic and social environments.
• Assimilate political, economic and social environments.
• Develop innovative solutions/actions/policies/methodologies adapted to an institutional and social context of actors concerned in a process of change.
• Develop and implement innovative economic and social policies and measure their potential impacts.
• Independently or collectively mobilise the skills acquired through training, in social and political fields.
• Listen to team members and encourage expressing a shared opinion. Accept and discuss a different point of view than theirs.
• Appropriately mobilise expertise taking into account the constraints and resources in the situation encountered.
• Be critical and have a general overview of the analysis of problems and implementation of actions in the economic, social and political fields.

Learning Outcomes of UE

Students will be able to reflect on different ways of implementing actions or policies in favour of social inclusion, of the reduction of inequalities as well as of the reduction of poverty.  They will also be able to understand the challenges of sustainable development and alternative economic systems.
 

Content of UE

- Seminar on the issues of poverty and inequality reduction and social inclusion.

- Practical case studies on public, non-market and social economy organisations

- Group work in the field to reflect on the implementation of actions or policies in favour of social inclusion and the reduction of inequalities and poverty.

- Assignments on alternative economic systems
