Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of the present learning module, the student will be able to:
- read and summarize by himself current papers and textbooks in the field of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) or field theory ;
- make explicit computations in the field of QCD by resorting to the relevant mathematical formalism.

Content of UE

- Non abelian gauge theories
- QCD, quarks and gluons
- Lattice QCD
- Large N limit
- Chiral symmetry
- Other topic related to quantum field theory, to be discussed with students.

Knowledge of relativistic quantum field theory
