Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

• Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in psychology and educational sciences to analyse a situation involving these disciplines
• Identify and explain the concepts, principles and models of fundamental theoretical trends in psychology and educational sciences and their applications
• Identify and describe the biological and socio-cultural foundations of human behaviour
• Identify and describe the specific characteristics of psychology and educational sciences and their relationship to other contributory disciplines
• Understand the fundamentals of intervention
• Describe and illustrate the different types of intervention in psychology and educational sciences (or education systems)
• Describe the steps of the implementation process of interventions and identify the stakeholders involved
• Explain the concepts and relationships of theoretical models of intervention adopt a critical stance regarding these models.
• Provide clear, accurate, and reasoned information
• Provide information (both orally and in writing) regarding the fields of psychology and educational sciences in an intelligible manner, with a good command of the language communication techniques.

Learning Outcomes of UE

To understand the evolution of the concept of disability
To understand the socio-ecological models of disability as well as their impact on intervention
To understand the practice framework of clinical orthopedagogy as well as the core concept that structure this framework

Content of UE

The course will consist of three theoretical modules:

1.Introduction to the models and concepts underlying the framework and missions of clinical orthopedagogy
2. Framework, roles and functions of the clinical orthopedagogist
3. Complementary concepts 

The students are free to assist to the sessions of the fourth module (dates for those slots will be provided at the beginning of the first semester)
