Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Content of UE

The aim of this course is for the participants to acquire the theoric and practical bases relating to eukaryote cells culturing and to cytotoxic bioassays. The theory part will consist in learning about the work environment and the constraints of working in a cell culture room (security levels, sterility, cleanroom, etc.), the various cell lines (primary, immortalized), the multiple culture media that exist and the principles of basic bioassays (important tool for the discovery of new therapeutic candidates). This course will include innovative learning tools (inversed classes, interactive work support) and will be completed by student labs taking place in a cell culture room.
