Learning Outcomes of UE
Pharmaceutical Development
The objective of this lesson is to expose the main lines of the way a pharmaceutical development of a drug occurs.
The lesson describes and explains the development of a pharmaceutical drug from the earliest steps (preformulation) to the obtention of the final form of the drug at the industrial scale.
A special attention is paid to the possible mistakes or lack of knowledge during development and to identify the key parameters allowing the obtention of a robust and reproducible pharmaceutical form.
The lesson describes some real cases of different various forms.
