Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this teaching unit, the student will be able to:
1. Become part of a professional environment, understand and / or participate in its functioning and the activities carried out there, interact with the people who work there or who use it, and respect the rules which are there in force.
2. Write a personal and original work on a given subject.
3. Orally present the main aspects of his work in front of a Jury and answer questions.
 

Content of UE

1. Internship of 3 months in a foreign country (= complementary internship)  in fields related to pharmaceutical sciences:
- hospital pharmacy
- clinical biology laboratory
- university research laboratory
- industry
- cooperation unit
- public service, professional association, continuing education organization

2. Writing of a personal work on an original subject (= TFE)

3. Defense of this work (Jury of minimum 3 people). The defense includes the oral presentation of the subject using a computer dissemination tool (PowerPoint type) and a meeting to answer questions from the members of the Jury.

The complementary internship is inseparable from the master thesis (TFE)

In accordance with the instructions in force, to validate the TU score, the student must have both successfully filed and defended his/her master thesis (TFE), but also have submitted all the documents for the complementary internship, within the required deadlines.

In the event that this teaching unit is unsuccessful, it cannot be re-selected in the PAE for the subsequent year and the student must imperatively select another teaching unit.
