Type of Assessment for UE in Q2

  • Presentation and/or works

Q2 UE Assessment Comments

The complementary internship, whether or not it is related to the subject of the original work (master thesis), is inseparable from the latter.
To validate the TU score, you must both have successfully filed and defended your master thesis (in accordance with the instructions in force), but also have submitted all the documents for the complementary internship, within the required deadlines.
If the complementary internship (even if it is not related to the master thesis) has not been completed, the TU grade will not be valid until the following session (note: in Q3, if the master thesis is presented but the complementary internship not validated, the jury decides whether or not the results of the master thesis  will be kept for the following year).
In the event of failure of the master thesis in Q2, the student has the opportunity to present his master thesis (written work and defense) in Q3 without having to repeat the complementary internship, provided that the internship was completed and the required documents submitted.

In the event of failure in Q3, the student will have to complete a new complementary internship and represent a master thesis (written work and defense). Unless written dispensation obtained from the President of the Jury for exceptional circumstances.

Unweighted average of all score :
- Written work represents 20 points (average of the score awarded by the members of the jury)
- Oral presentation represents 20 points (average of the score awarded by the members of the jury)
- Oral defense (= question / answer sessions) represents 20 points (average of the score awarded by the members of the jury)
