Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Performing biochemical and haematological tests, explaining the methodological principles used, interpreting the results in the context of clinical cases, understanding the material of the medical biochemistry course
Content of UE
Biochemical assays (porphobilinogen, delta-amino levulinic acid, iron, transferrin, haemoglobin) in various biological matrices and interpretation of clinical cases.
Prior Experience
Basic principles in biochemistry quantification (colorimetry, immunoturbidimetry) must be understood

Three assignments will be submitted on the Moodle platform and graded according to the analytical and theoretical results, with a final grade for the practical work being awarded out of 20.
