Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this learning unit, the student will be able to respond to pharmaceutical requests based on notions of semiology. The student will be able to provide a response adapted to the specificities of the patient (ages, pathologies, physiological states, etc.) in terms of general advice on good uses of drugs (prescribed and OTC), herbal medicine, aromatherapy, good uses of antibiotics and antivirals, and give adequate dietary advice (hygienic-dietetic advice). At the end of the EU, the student will also be able to work for the reduction of antimicrobial resistance and drug iatrogenism; prevent and manage adverse and toxic effects (including drug interactions) and apply a pharmaceutical care approach.

Method of calculating the overall mark for the Q1 UE assessment

If all AAs have a score greater than or equal to 10/20:
Advice and follow-up at the pharmacy (general): 15.4%
Toxicological aspects and dispensation: 15.4%
Hygienic-dietetic advice: 15.4%
Aromatherapy and herbal medicine: 15.4%
Elements of semiology: 15.4%
General and medical microbiology (bacteriology and virology): 23%

If at least one AA has a score below 10/20: the EU score will be the lowest AA score.

Q1 UE Assessment Comments
