Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Understand and define the "maintenance" function in an industrial context; understand how maintenance may contribute on performance of the production; recognize the main maintenance policies and the management principles for RAMS (reliability, availability, maintenability and safety).
Understand the main concepts of quality in industry. Apply various "quality tools".
Optimize the layout of a workshop; schedule a project or a workshop; manage the supply chain; understand ERP management.
Content of UE
Maintenance and RAMS (reliability, availability, maintenability and safety); terminology; maintenance organisation; reliability of electronic systems, mechanical systems and structures. Some case studies are defined with respect of the specialization of the students.
Qualite and conformity. Statistical Process Control. Design of Experiments.
Operational decision in the enterprise: line balancing; project scheduling with resource; production scheduling (flowshop and jobshop); inventory management; MRP and ERP; Just-in-Time, facility layout.

Type of Assessment for UE in Q2
Q2 UE Assessment Comments
The evaluation methods are likely to be adjusted according to the context imposed by the health measures.
I-MARO-010
These evaluation methods can be composed of personal work (and / or in groups), presentations, written exam, oral exam (online evaluations depending on the health measures).
For students who have not respected the 80% participation rule, the evaluation will be based on the theoretical knowledge of the course.
I-GMEC-033
I-GMEC-032
The evaluation of the AA "Prescriptive maintenance 4.0 and serious game" integrates the work of synthesis and the presentation of the article of the seminar, and the quality of the deliverables of the activities carried out during the serious game. Participation in the seminar and serious game sessions is essential. The evaluations of I-GMEC-032 and I-GMEC-033 are grouped together within the same oral examination at the end of which the marks of I-GMEC-032 and I-GMEC-033 are fixed.

I-GMEC-032
f the failure in the first session is due to a deficiency for the seminar activity, equivalent personal work (written summary of the assigned article on 5 pages and summary slide show) is required for this part. If the failure in the first session is due to an impairment for the serious game activity, an equivalent personal work (written synthesis of an additional article or a book chapter on 5 pages and synthesis slide show) is required for this part.
