Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in science and engineering to solve problems involving these disciplines
    • Select and rigorously apply knowledge, tools and methods in sciences and engineering to solve problems involving these disciplines
  • Demonstrate thoroughness and independence throughout their studies
    • Identify the different fields and participants in engineering
    • Develop their scientific curiosity and open-mindedness

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- understand the market economy, analyse economic mechanisms, interactions between economic agents.
- explain the profitability of technological companies,
- write the business plan of a technological start-up,
- evaluate the profitability of a technological project.

Content of UE

- Market structures : perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly, monopolistic competition.
- Introduction to managerial accounting
- The profit and loss stratement
- Case studies: analysis of the profitability of technological companies
- Economic criteria for project evaluation
