Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
- Understand, thoroughly and critically, the basic theoretical frameworks on social transitions and innovations.
- Analyse social, political and economic change.
- Analyse a situation by critically selecting the appropriate theoretical frameworks.
- Mobilise the relevant analytical approaches and the appropriate methodological tools to analyse, rigorously, thoroughly and comparatively, the problems of social transitions and innovations, including their interactions and their spatial and temporal evolutions.
- Understand the changes specific to transitions and social innovations.

Identifier et distinguer les courants de pensées, concepts et modèles théoriques décris et exemplifiés lors du cours.
Comparer, décrire et exemplifier ces outils théoriques.
Transférer et mettre en oeuvre ces concepts et outils théoriques dans l'analyse de documents et/ou de cas concrets.
Content of UE
1. Sociologie des organisations. Définition. Les lois dynamiques des groupes sociaux ; les conceptions hétérodoxes et orthodoxe des organisations ; la bureaucratie chez Max Weber ; les remises en question de l'Idéal type (Merton, Gouldner, March & Simon...) ; bureaucratie et totalitarisme; Michel Crozier et l'analyse stratégique ; le concept de Champ chez Pierre Bourdieu ; le pouvoir et l'autorité ; la question de la légitimité (formelle et substantielle). Rappel des notions de taylorisme, fordisme et post-fordisme.
2. Analyse institutionnelle. Etudes, analyses et débats autour de textes de Pierre Bourdieu (sur l'Etat), Bernard Lahire (magie sociale), Michel Foucault (pouvoir), etc.
