Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Instruct an architectural issue
    • Study the different components of a theme to articulate its findings in a comprehensive summary
    • Build an architectural culture based on theoretical and critical knowledge and personal reading
    • Coordinate the various disciplines related to architecture and urban planning transversely
    • Develop teamwork
  • Develop a spatial response
    • Master the means of oral, written and graphic expression
    • Develop a project methodology integrating the various constraints related to the architectural discipline
  • Implement an identified spatial response
    • Adopt an applied scientific approach
    • Integrate technical dimensions in the project
    • Reconcile the creative and functional dimensions in the project
  • Interact with all actors
    • Master the different means of expression available to the architect to communicate to informed publics, or not
    • Develop a professional attitude
    • Integrate and work in a team
    • Integrate the different expectations of stakeholders related to architecture and urban planning
  • Make choices
    • Demonstrate reflexivity, openness and initiative

Learning Outcomes of UE

1.    Integrate the reading beacons of the influence of digital development on architecture from the 1960s onwards
2.    To understand the practices for a better use of digital technology during the learning process of the architectural and urban planning discipline.
3.    Integrate the conceptual and practical bases of the use of digital tools for contemporary architectural representation and communication.
4.    To be able to engage in architectural design practice accompanied by digital methods and tools.
5.    Know and be able to manage changes due to the notions of scale and precision using digital tools.
6.    6. Be familiar with construction methods and practices carried by digital tools and devices.
7.    Be able to grasp the continuity and complementarity that exists between the different digital tools used in the field of architectural design and production.
8.    Have a global and objective knowledge of the different digital tools integrated into the design practices of architectural representation and materialisation.
9.    To be able to work with other students in a digital educational ecosystem while having a global vision of professional ecosystems.

Type of Assessment for UE in Q2

  • Presentation and/or works
  • Practical test
  • Graded tests
  • eTest

Q2 UE Assessment Comments

Attendance at tutorials is mandatory with a check at the end of each session. These Tutorials result in a series of interim evaluations (MCQ/Tutorial Report) that form part of the final evaluation of the AA. Failure to attend the tutorial sessions and/or failure to submit the associated assignments will result in a zero rating.  Only absences due to force majeure will be taken into account on the basis of a valid receipt to be submitted to the secretariat within 24 hours of the session concerned.
Other than these intermediate evaluations, the final evaluation will consist of the submission of an assignment (details given at the beginning of the course) and a practical examination (or assignment + presentation) during the evaluation period. The final choice of weighting between the different modes of evaluation will be specified at the beginning of the course (introductory course) and communicated via its Moodle page and/or Teams group.

Type of Assessment for UE in Q3

  • Presentation and/or works
  • Oral examination
  • Practical Test
  • Graded tests

Q3 UE Assessment Comments

The final choice for the mode of evaluation for Q3 and its weighting will be specified following the communication of the results of the Q2 session and via the Moodle page of the course.
