Learning Outcomes of UE

Faced with the decompartmentalization of the arts and architecture, the avant-garde movements redefined the fields of architecture and the arts during the 20th century. Their "interdisciplinary" exchanges and transgressions provoke the ruptures of pre-modern, modern and post-modern architecture.

The study of the evolution of artistic practices related to architectural design extends to the history of ideas and theoretical writings.

The objective of the course is to identify the principles and mutations of "architectural thought" during the 20th century by exploring the experience of the perception and reception of architecture and the arts.
