Content of Learning Activity
The goal of this activity is to study, from the physical point of view, different biomedical applications such as:
-biomechanics,
-fluid statics and Laplace law,
-non viscous and viscous fluid dynamics applied to bloodstream,
-geometrical optics and functioning of the eye.
Moreover, during the pratical works, the student will be asked to develop a scientific method. He/she will learn to carry on measurements, to estimate errors and to realize graphs. The topics of the practical works will be optics and fluid mechanics. The student will have to write a report about the results and interpretation of the experiments. Exercises sessions about the theory and the pratical works will also be organized.
