Content of Learning Activity
- analogue and digital transmissions (transmission support, signals, coding and modulation format, throughput, bitrate, transmission quality, serial/parallel transmission); - communication exchanges between different elements connected on a same transmission support (communication bus, framing, error detection and retransmission, CRC/ACK, transmission support topology and features, medium sharing); - network communications (communication protocols, network layers, networks interconnection, IP layer and Internet); - Internet and Internet of things applications and protocols : TCP / IP / HTTP / DHCP / UDP / ... - Working operation of different industrial communication systems (wire: CAN / Modbus / ... and wireless: WiFI, ZigBee, ...).
