    General introduction: electrical drives, main characteristics and choice considerations.
    Fundamentals of electromagnetics.
    Structure, fundamental laws and driving of continuous current actuators.
    Structure, fundamental laws and driving of stepper motors.
    Structure, fundamental laws and driving of brushless permanent magnet motors.
    Laboratory experiments (motor identification and drive).
