Content of Learning Activity
The course is divided into four parts:
- The major trends in anthropology
- Fundamental principles and concepts of an anthropology of social change, prospective and involved;
- The field survey and the empirical constraints of interpretation in social and cultural anthropology.
- The presentation of monographs produced in working-class neighbourhoods with migrants and immigrant families, but also in countries of origin.
The anthropological approach will open the students to theoretical frameworks and methods of the discipline. Ethnographic exploration of here and elsewhere will sensitize them to otherness.
