Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Critically compare knowledge acquired to real situations.
    • Develop and structure reasoning by basing it on suitable scientific arguments
  • Demonstrate working and analytical rigour.
    • Develop their scientific curiosity and open-mindedness
  • Understand the scientific foundations of technological processes and the management of information flow and their respective involvement from a managerial point of view.
    • Understand the scientific fundamentals of production processes and their implications.
    • Understand extensive tools dedicated to the management of technological processes and the management of information flow.

Learning Outcomes of UE

Be familiar with the main environmental concepts and them to basic sciences.
Assessing the impact of industrial processes on the environment and consider their implementation in the context of sustainable development;
Compare various technological processes and make a choice according to a list of objective criteria.
Implement industrial waste treatment techniques depending on the type of effluent

Content of UE

The lectures  are devoted to natural environment (spheres, cycles, mineral and energy resources); entropic impact (greenhouse effect, ozone layer, acid rain); energy and mineral consumption; sustainable development; systems of conversion, production of energy and their impacts, impact of full industrial process : raw material, energy consumption , gases emissions, waste, ...; wastewater treatment, gases treatments, waste management.
