- Interpret towards French, in consecutive or simultaneous mode, speeches from high-level specialists on a variety of topics.
- Interpret towards the foreign language speeches in French on general or current topics.

Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of the second block of the master in interpreting, students will be able to:
- memorize a speech of a non- or averagely specialized nature while identifying and replicating its structure, using notes if required;
- fully understand and memorize a more highly specialized speech through the preparation of documents and terminology;
- render the speech in correct and fluent French with no errors of meaning and deliver the speech in a convincing fashion; - give a description and rationale for the strategies employed.
Content of UE
Consecutive interpretation of speeches of various length and complexity.
Memorization, note-taking and rendering in French.
Exercises based on non-prepared speeches, freely-rendered written texts or recordings of original speeches.
