Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Upon completion of the language courses of the third module, students will have a good command of the foreign language at a C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students will be able to: - indicate links between ideas, highlight meaningful points; and use the proper transition signals so that sentences flow into a clear, coherent whole; - develop arguments that take into account the other speakers' views and make connections with their statements and deductions ; - negotiate, in writing and orally, adequate solutions to the problems of everyday life.
Content of UE
Receptive and productive activities focused on discursive skills, effective social discourse and negotiation strategies. Emphasis on interaction with native speakers and on intercultural skills (preparation for linguistic immersion). Elements of English linguistics and literature.
