Programme component

Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Intercultural and Interlinguistic Communication : adopt a specialist approach. Master the knowledge and know what skills are required for multilingual negotiation.
    • Master the rules of interaction specific to a particular community, including non-verbal elements (useful knowledge to be able to negotiate).
    • Develop and apply knowledge in specialist areas (proficiency of concept systems, reasoning methods, presentation methods, controlled language, terminology, etc.).
    • Develop documentary and terminological research strategies (including from experts).

Learning Outcomes of UE

Upon completion of the language courses , students will have a good command of the foreign language at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Students will be able to : - understand texts in which the writers adopt particular stances or vieuwpoints as well as contemporary fiction works; follow complex lines of argument provided the topic is reasonably familiar; understand current affairs programmes and films in standard dialect;

Content of UE

Critical analysis of genuine audio-visual documents and varied texts. Oral and written exercises. Emphasis on interaction with native speakers and on intercultural skills.
