Content of Learning Activity
Consecutive and simultaneous interpretation of speeches of various length and complexity. Topics deriving from major international meetings. Exercises based on non-prepared speeches, freely-rendered written texts or recordings of original speeches. Memorization, note-taking and rendering in French. Theoretical and practical work experience (visits, "dummy booths") within Parliamentary institutions and international organizations. Consecutive and simultaneous interpretation of short and relatively non-specialized speeches.
