Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2020-2021 assessments (Covid-19)
      • Written exam (multiple choice, open questions)
      • Oral exam (questions and answers, presentation of individual or group work, comment and argument about a written text...)
Description of the modifications to the Q3 2020-2021 assessment procedures (Covid-19)
Oral exam on the theory of lectures of the quadrimester
Weighting: 50% of the overall mark. The exam is scheduled in real face-to-face mode. You will draw a pair of subjects at random. You will have 30 minutes maximum to prepare these two subjects with the syllabus and your notes. Then, during maximum 30 minutes, you will present the topics on the board, in the order you want, in the clearest possible way, without any notes. I will question you at times to test your understanding and mastery of the subject. I will tell you when to move on to subject 2. If real face-to-face mode proves impossible, the exam will be done remotely via Teams. I'll let you know as soon as possible. You will then have your notes. Questions will be drawn at random and you will answer them without preparation. These will be fairly short reflection questions without long mathematical developments. You will be alone in your room and you will keep the camera and microphone open for the duration of the exam. The exam will last a maximum of 30 minutes. I will invite you to connect by Teams at a specific time which will be communicated to you as soon as possible.

Written exam of exercises on the subjects of the quadrimester
Weighting: 40% of the quadrimester, 20% of the overall mark. You will have the syllabus and your personal notes during the test, which should last between 1 and 2 hours. The exam will be conducted remotely via Moodle and Teams. You will be alone in your room and you will keep the camera and microphone open for the duration of the exam. No break will be scheduled. You will need to have a way to send me your handwritten responses (camera, virtual board screenshot, etc.). During the oral exam, I could ask you how you answered the written exam questions.

An oral exam can only be taken if the corresponding written exam has been taken. Taking an exam involves a commitment on honor not to cheat.
