Organisational online arrangements for the end of Q3 2020-2021 assessments (Covid-19)
      • Written exam (multiple choice, open questions)
Description of the modifications to the Q3 2020-2021 assessment procedures (Covid-19)
The assessment about the theory will be done via a written assesment during the session. It will contain problems to solve and a few questions about theory and multiple choices questions. The ratings obtained during Q2 for the lab reports and the lab written examination are maintained.

Organisational arrangements for the end of Q2 2020-2021 assessments (Covid-19) online or face-to-face (according to assessment schedule)

      • Written exam (multiple choice, open questions)

Description of the modifications to the Q2 2020-2021 assessment procedures (Covid-19) online or face-to-face (according to assessment schedule)

The assessment about the theory will be done via a written assessment during the session, on site if possible, online otherwise. It will contain problems to solve and a few multiple choices questions.
Concerning the practical works (real or virtual), the assessment will be done using 1) the lab reports of Q2 and 2) a Moodle test concerning the topics of the different practical works of Q2, which will be organized before the session.

      Content of Learning Activity

The goal of this activity is to refine the knowledge of the students in different topics of physics like gravity and oscillators. Physical concepts applied to biomedical applications will also be studied, like :
      -waves, hearing and voice,
      -electromagnetism,
      -nerve impulses,
      -medical imaging,
      -modern physics and radioactivity.
Moreover, during the practical works, the student will be asked to develop a scientific method. He will learn to carry on measurements, to estimate errors and to realize graphs. The topics of the practical works will be mechanics, wave physics, electricity and modern physics. The student will have to write a report about the results and interpretation of the experiments. Exercises sessions about the theory and the pratical works will also be organized.
