    Description of the modifications to the Q3 2020-2021 assessment procedures (Covid-19)
    On site written exam. It is based on the entire course content as presented during Q1 except the last chapter (Open systems). The exam covers theoretical aspects + Quoted exercise.

    Moodle Examens will be used (option "Devoir").

    Written exam: 60%. Quoted exercice: 40%
     

    Content of Learning Activity

    Basic concepts; first and second laws of Thermodynamics (open and closed systems); thermodynamic properties for pure compounds; thermodynamic diagrams; Liquid-vapour equilibria for mixtures; cryoscopy; solubility; chemical reactions; thermodynamic machines for energy conversion (principles).
