      Content of Learning Activity

Theory-exercises mode course, in face-to-face mode, preferably. In the case of eventual sanitary problems, the course will be switched to distance mode. Students must be present during the first course lecture. Contents: The "More than Moore" roadmap. Modern mixed-signal integrated circuit technologies. Special technologies: organic devices, MEMS and NEMS technologies, 3D integration. Analog subsystems: DAC and ADC converters,  integrated sensors and actuators, sensors and actuators interfaces, filtering, RF front-end, power management strategies, energy harvesting circuits and systems, RFID circuits, special communications circuits, Field Programmable Analog Arrays (FPAA),  dynamically programmable Analog Signal Processors (dpASP), analog co-processors.  Case study: applications examples for the IoT (Internet of Things), AAL (Ambient Assisted Living), Green technologies' Systems-on-Chip...
