Content of Learning Activity
A trip of about 10 days is organized in a country where various mining methods can be encountered. Every student will have to work on a particular mineral resource, and some meetings will be organised in order to exchange experiences under supervision of academic participants. Students will then have to read exploration reports, global economic mining documents, environmental impacts in relation of mining operations, mining plans, and new technologies to transform minerals into metals. they wil then produce a report including a geological, technical and economical parts.
