Description of the modifications to the Q1 2020-2021 online assessment procedures (Covid-19) online or face-to-face (according to assessment schedule)
The 'machine design' part is evaluated using application exercices. this part of the exam will be done using moodle platform, it consist in a set of question that may need graphical production. For each question, it is possible to send, in addition to free comment, a scanned copy (or picture using camera or smartphone) of the sheet of paper used to answer the question. practical details will be given on the moodle page of the course prior the beginning of the exam.
The 'manufacturing' part is evaluated with an oral exam using TEAMS. The agenda will be defined prior to the exam, the TEAMS meetings will be created by the professor.
Relative part between both parts is linked to the number of hours given in the course
- mining technologies: 50% machine design, 50% manufacturing
- architectural engineering: 33% machine design, 67% manufacturing
