      Description of the modifications to the Q3 2020-2021 assessment procedures (Covid-19)
      The examination is oral. If the student has chosen a presentation relating to karst, he or she will present in 7 minutes maximum the subject he or she has prepared using the presentation material submitted no later than 7 days before the exam and answers questions relating to his or her presentation. The student is then given a question relating to the knowledge and understanding of the concepts seen during the lessons and excursions. The student presents his/her answer to the question orally (without any preparation period), without the help of written or oral material or assistance from a third party. The final mark is based exclusively on the oral examination.

If the student has chosen a presentation relating to karst, he or she will present in 7 minutes maximum the subject he or she has prepared using the presentation material submitted in December and answers questions relating to his or her presentation. The student is then given a question relating to the knowledge and understanding of the concepts seen during the lessons and excursions. The student presents his/her answer to the question orally (without any preparation period), without the help of written or oral material or assistance from a third party. The final mark is based exclusively on the oral examination.

      Introduction
      - typical karstic reliefs;
      - karstic rocks : nature and geographical distribution;
      - process of dissolution;

      Karst geomorphology
      - Exokarst : forms and microforms typology, morphogenetic associations
      - Epikarst : slow and rapid infiltration, role in recharge;
      - Endokarst : underground voids, wall forms, internal deposits, underground drainage, kartic networks typology and speleogenetic hypotheses;

      Karst hydrogeology
      - Karstic aquifers : specificities et typology;
      - Karst systemic analyse : correlation and spectral analysis of outflow time series, tracer tests in karst;

      Implication for engineering geology
      - soil/rock interfaceontact in karstic terrain;
      - karstic contexts typology for engineers, cavity risk, specific soil investigations, special foundations;
