• Use lexicographical resources and reference materials to lead linguistic mediation activities individually or as part of a team (professional skills)

• Conduct targeted and reasoned documentary research in both the core language and the foreign languages studied

Learning Outcomes of UE

Students will be able to provide a translation in the foreign language which requires little or no revision by a native speaker and render the translation fit for purpose and acceptable on the market.

Content of UE

Translation of texts on general subjects and exercises in comparative linguistics. Practical application of learned strategies to produce a natural and true translation in the foreign language. Intensive and careful use of documentation and other linguistic resources meant for native speakers.
