Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Conduct extensive research and development projects related to biological sciences, in the biology of organisms and ecology.
    • Apply, mobilise, articulate and promote the knowledge and skills acquired in order to help lead and complete a project.
    • Contributing to a project by mastering its complexity and taking into account the objectives, allocated resources and constraints that characterise it.
    • Show initiative and be able to work independently and in teams.
  • Master communication techniques.
    • Adapt their communication to a variety of audiences.
  • Develop and integrate a high degree of autonomy.
    • Aquire new knowledge independently.
    • Pursue further training and develop new skills independently.
    • Develop and integrate a high degree of autonomy to evolve in new contexts.
  • Apply scientific methodology.
    • Critically reflect on the impact of their discipline in general, and on the contribution to projects.

Learning Outcomes of UE

When they have completed the class, the students will be able to: - take into account the landscape dimension in their future professoinal life - be open to new approaches and perspectives - positoin themselves towards a 'space' - make a choice between the differerent topics related to the content of the Master's degree.

Content of UE

The class is delivered following different themes: - The concept of Landscape (notion of scale, space, vision, perspective, etc...) - Development of landscapes (change, transformation, mutation, etc...) - City and urbanity (public space, vegetal space, practice of the space, ...) - Nature and landscape (what is 'natura'l, 'artificial', management, ...) - Gardens (brief historical perspective and perception of gardens across time) - Other ways to consider lanscape (Land art, ...)
