Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

By the end of the course the student will be able to:
- understand texts related to IT sciences
- express his or her opinion on any topic related to global issues and related to IT sciences -exercise discrimination when using internet sites and tools to further develop his/her language skills  

Content of UE

- vocabulary and grammar exercises
- reading (texts related to IT sciences)
- listening exercises 
-writing and speaking exercises - using internet sites and tools (wiki,blogs, skype..) individually or in team to practise English.

Q2 UE Assessment Comments

All year through continuous assessement. Collaborative project(s): 25% final evaluation: 25% Continuing assessment based on forum discussion and F2F participation and evaluation of set tasks: 50%

If the student passes the pre-course test, he/she gets dispensation from the said course. The mark given on the pre-course test will be converted to reflect the fact that productive skills cannot be extensively tested.
