Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Carry out development or innovation projects in IT.
    • Apply, mobilise, articulate and promote the knowledge and skills acquired in order to contribute to the achievement of a development or innovation project.
  • Master communication techniques.
    • Communicate, both orally and in writing, their findings, original proposals, knowledge and underlying principles, in a clear, structured and justified manner.
    • Adapt their communication to a variety of audiences.
    • Where possible, communicate in a foreign language.
  • Develop and integrate a high degree of autonomy.
    • Aquire new knowledge independently.
    • Pursue further training and develop new skills independently.
    • Develop and integrate a high degree of autonomy to evolve in new contexts.

    • Critically reflect on the impact of IT in general, and on the contribution to projects.

Learning Outcomes of UE

By the end of the course the student will be able to:
- understand in detail texts related to IT sciences
- express his or her opinion on any topic related to global issues and related to IT sciences - exercise his/her discrimination when using internet tools and sites to further develop his/her langague skills.

Content of UE

- vocabulary and grammar exercises
- reading (texts related to IT sciences)
- listening exercises 
- writing and speaking exercises -using IT tools and the Internet (wiki, blogs, skype, plateformes et sites d'e-learning), either individually or in a team The course will be given online and face-to-face.

Assessment throughout the semester
Collaborative project(s): 25% Final evaluation: 25%
task-based evaluation (wikis, blogs, présentations multimédia, tests en ligne): 50%
If the student passes the pre-course test, he/she gets dispensation from the said course. The mark given on the pre-course test will be converted to meet the level of the final examination/ evaluation, as productive skills cannot be extensively tested.
